Supervisory Board

LUKAS METZLER (CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD)

Lukas Metzler is the chairman of the Board. He obtained a law degree at the University of Fribourg (Swiss). He specialises in corporate law and restructuring, contractual business law, mergers and acquisitions, law of succession and law on recording (notary public). He worked as a lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG., St. Gallen (till mid 1998 called StG-Coopers & Lybrand AG) from 1994 to 1998 and at Ernst & Young, St. Gallen, from 1992 to 1994.

From 1999 on he is partner at AMG Attorneys at Law (formerly Suter & Partners Attorneys at Law).

Since 2004 he has been chairman of MCS AG and then Matica Swiss AG.

FRANCESCO FABIANI (Member OF THE BOARD)

Francesco Fabiani is member of the supervisory board. After obtaining a degree in Economics with specialization in tax at the University of Pavia (Italy) he attended a Master in Italian and International tax law sponsored by Confindustria and a Master in capital markets and financial Instrument at Bocconi University in Milan. In November 1999 he joined Starfin SA in Lugano, a family office and wealth management company. The company provides portfolio and investment management services as well as tax/legal advice to a Prominent Italian Family and to a few Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Mr. Fabiani has been the tax manager, advising individuals and corporation on international tax planning on structuring real estate acquisitions.

Starting from September 2006 he is Managing Director of Starfin SA.

GIORGIO MAGNONI (Member of the Board)

Giorgio Magnoni is member of the supervisory board. Giorgio Magnoni graduated in Law at the University of Milan (Italy) in 1963. He has been Vice President and CEO of Dillon Read & Co. Inc. and Dillon Read Overseas Corporation from 1972 to 1985 and Chief Executive Officer of Teknecomp SpA (Intek S.p.A.). In 2001, George Magnoni was founding member of the European LM Sociedad de Valores SA de Tenencia, CEO until 2005.  He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Omniapartecipazioni S.p.A. (since 2002) and presently he is President of the Foundation Magnoni (since 2002), Director of the Laureus Foundation, Italy (since 2005), Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of SOPAF S.p.A. (since 2005) and Board member of Piaggio S.p.A..

Over the past five years Giorgio Magnoni has been member of the Supervisory Board of Management & Capitali S.p.A. (from 2006 to 2008), Director of IMMSI S.p.A. (from 2003 to 2006), Meliorbanca S.p.A. (from 2003 to 2005 and Polis Fondi SGR S.p.A. (from 2005 to 2006).

Since March 2010 Mr. Magnoni is President of SPF Energy S.p.A.
