LetterScreen

LetterScreen^TM is an overt security feature designed to protect travel documents against tampering and unauthorized personalization.

LetterScreen^TM creates a copy the applicant’s photo in a special micro-text screen comprised of personal data, such as owner’s name and document number. It is normally printed as a background image, underneath other text or graphic elements. The authenticity of the document can be verified by comparing personal information of the data page to the personal data appearing in the LetterScreen^TM image by using a simple magnifying tool.

The use of LetterScreen^TM requires an additional software license agreement.
